On a recent visit to Buffalo, New York, I stopped in at Premier Wine & Spirits on Maple Street in Amhurst. It has been a few years since my last visit. And Wow! Immediately upon entering, you feel the energy. A huge selection, lights flashing and customers interacting with friendly and knowledgeable sales associates. The store is organized and well stocked with over 15,000 different products. You can taste products as you tour the aisles and luckily for me, Veuve Cliquot was on offer – one of my favourite bubblies and always delicious!

Premier Wine & Spirits is more than a store — it’s a show! From the buffalo suspended from the ceiling to a miniature still from a distillery on display! There is also a special room stocked with expensive and rare items to be investigated – just ask a representative for a key and explore yourself!

Next door is Premier Gourmet, a top rated specialty fine food store with house wares, roasted coffee and local gift items. Their extensive beer section of 1500 beers, including a well stocked growler station, is very impressive.
